FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) — Nigeria Qualifiers

September – April season

Teams design and program competition robots across a season that runs from a September kickoff through regional and national qualifiers, ahead of the world championship.

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) — National Championship

Kickoff Aug/Sept · Championships Jan

Our Junior Innovators build and program with LEGO Education kits, tackling this year's challenge theme from the season kickoff through the national championship window in January.

National STEM & Innovation Fairs

Year-round

Science-fair and innovation-showcase circuits run by national STEM bodies, where our Research Projects and Innovation Challenges entries travel to compete.

World Robot Olympiad (WRO) — International Final

International Final · Dec 8–10, 2026 · San Juan, Puerto Rico

National champions across RoboMission, RoboSports, Future Innovators and Future Engineers travel to the WRO International Final, hosted in a different country each year.

RoboCup

Held annually, typically June–July

The "World Cup of Robotics" — soccer-playing robots, rescue robotics, and RoboCupJunior for student teams, hosted in a new city each year.

FIRST Championship

World finals · April

The season-ending world championship for FTC and FLL teams who qualify through national events.
